Pacific Crest Trail

I lead a backcountry trails crew of 7 for 7 months of the year in 2017 and 2018 with a partnership with the Pacific Crest Trail Association and the American Conservation Experience. Our projects included trail maintenance, logouts, hand trail construction, ecological restoration, and trail design. I would lead projects in rugged, remote locations, backpacking or with a basecamp for nine days. I would lead volunteer groups upwards of twenty people on certain projects, for example the Sierra Buttes reroute. We roved from the border of Mexico to the border of Oregon, working with various land agencies, for example, Tahoe National Forest, LTBMU, San Bernardino National Forest, Angeles National Forest, Anza Borrego Desert State Park, BLM, Klamath National Forest, Sequoia National Forest, and Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
